Britney Spears "Me Against the Music" Music Video Look

It may be because the Britney episdode of Glee coming on soon, I've been inspired to do these Britney looks.. This one is from Me Against The Music :)

EYES

• Base- NYX JP in Purple Velvet
• Lid- Ulta in Pashmina and I used square 3 & 4 from a color workshop set (matte light purple and a dirty silverish purple on the inner lid. For the outer lid, I used LA Colors Palette in Mesmerize (3rd color)
• Crease- Sweep 3rd color from Mesmerize into the crease and use Ulta in Twilight and Ammunition palette (5th color) on the outer crease
• Highlight- LA Colors palette in Ammunition (1st color)
• Liner- Black Bean on the top and on the lower lash line I used Purple Velvet and Ulta in Rockstar in the outer using Pashmina in the inner, with Black Bean in the waterline
• Mascara- Falsies

This is a look from Leighton Meester's Somebody to Love music video and she looks absolutely gorgeous!!

Britney Spears "Do Something" Music Video Look

Ths is one of the many Britney looks I have planned. This look is inspired by her music video for "Do Something" which is one of my favorite Britney songs that wasn't very popular but it was just a fun song.

EYES

• Base- NYX JP in Pacific and Pots N Pans
• Lid- I used LA Colors Palette in Ammunition (2 and 3) together. Then I used Ulta in Peacock and Granite to the outer corner blending it out to the crease. In the middle of the lid I used Archetype Minerals in Harlot Star and then Granite again to the inner and middle lid lightly.
• Crease- I used Ammunition (5th color) to define the outer crease
• Liner- On the top I used NYX JP in Black Bean, On the bottom I first used JP Pacific, them I used Rimmel sparkle pencil in Amethyst smudge together then mix Jordana eye liner in Purple Fusion, on top of that I used Lollipop Palette (5th color) and Mesmerize palette (3) with Ulta in Zephyr. In the waterline I used Black Bean

Officially a Senior!

For the past couple weeks I've been taking my hair cutting class which at the start I was super excited and then that excitement turned into frustration because I just wasn't getting it. First of all I'm left handed when it comes to using the scissors so everything is basically backwards for me. I started with my blunt cut (zero) and it was fine until I kept cutting my stationary guide making everything lop sided in spots. Then my 45 degree cut was worst because I couldn't figure out how to use even tension when making my angles which led to get really discouraged and scared about cutting because I felt that I just wasn't ready to go out there...

Then we started the 60 degree and things clicked again and I finished with my 90 degree cut and my teacher as well as my self saw that I was improving. So yesterday I stepped away from my mannequins and I got to do my first cut and my first men's cut which was basically using the scissor over comb method, which I picked up no problem but it was so nerve racking!!! But in the end no blood was shed and there were no tears and his hair looked awesome.. so now I can proudly say that I'm ready to go out on the floor now :)

KISS and Makeup

My mom went to see KISS last night and wanted me to do her face like Gene Simmons, so of course I jumped to the challenge!

For the white I used the normal Halloween white base and for the black I first used the black Halloween crayons, but it came out faded and gray so I used my NYX JP in Black Bean to fill in the gray spots.

For her hair, I used Big and Sexy spray all over her head, then I teased throughout her entire head, then I used Sammy under control molding wax through her hair and then I combed up the sides to make a mohawk starting at the nape I pinned in a straight line up her head. using the molding wax to make it stand up.
