American Idol Final Season Auditions: Jennifer Lopez in Little Rock, AR

The last Jennifer Lopez look in the series was inspired by her look at the Arkansas auditions. Now that the weather is finally getting warmer, I loved how bright and springy this look was. I got to use a few more colors from the Sephora Modern Watercolors Palette and some of the new Colour Pop colors I received especially Wattles from the new Spring collection which is a warm matte brown color. 

Another new favorite product of mine is the new mascara from The Balm called the Mad Lash, which is a pretty good dupe for the Benefit Roller Lash, which sadly I have been running out of, but the Mad Lash is a perfect replacement because the wands are identical.

 I have also been trying this really awesome nail polish from an Etsy store called pop_nail_beauty and this color is called Shopping With Dr Seuss, a gorgeous coral color and some cute Jamberry nail decals.

American Idol Final Season Auditions: Jennifer Lopez in Dallas, TX

This Jennifer Lopez look was one of my favorite looks of hers during this season.  I love the mix of aqua and browns, it's a really different look that I've never seen on her. I got to play a little with the Sephora Modern Watercolors palette, which is based off the Pantone colors, which had a really fun teal color that was perfect for the look.

American Idol Final Season Auditions: Jennifer Lopez in Philadelphia, PA

Another Jennifer look I wanted to do was inspired by her look at the Philadelphia auditions. I used mostly my Lorac Pro 2 Palette which I love using. One the tips I love to use is scotch tape to get precise lines when it comes to perfecting the cat eye. Then I followed it up with a nude glossy lip.

American Idol Final Season Auditions: Jennifer Lopez in San Fransisco, CA

The next look in the J. Lo series is from the San Fransisco auditions. The idol finale was two weeks ago and it was a bittersweet moment. I was thrilled that Trent Harmon won, I always felt like he was the male equivalent to Kelly Clarkson in a way and I thought it would have been gone during Hollywood week when he had gotten sick but he crushed his solo!! I thought the finale as a whole was awesome and all of the people that I wanted to see were there including Brian Dunkleman. I'm not even gonna lie about the fact that I cried.. lol

I'm Feeling Peachy

The moment the world has been waiting for has finally arrived... The Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette is here!!!  It is glorious and the epitome of Summer, a gorgeous blend of shades, most of them I find to be pretty unique in my collection and they blend like a dream.

First lets talk about the packaging, it's has a gorgeous peach to pink ombre with peaches all over the case and then you open the palette and get the sweetest peach smell, like those peach gummies, and get this the shadows actually taste like peaches too.. don't ask how I know this.. lol

American Idol Final Season Auditions: Jennifer Lopez in Atlanta, GA

I just watched the last episode of American Idol before the grand series finale next week, I have been wanting to do some J.Lo inspired looks from this season. Yes I know I am not Jennifer Lopez and I look nothing like her, these are just inspired looks from the season.

The first look was from the Atlanta, Georgia auditions, what really drew me to the look was the burgundy sweep of color on her lower lash line. I thought it was something different and the red tones really made my eyes stand out without looking sickly. She tied the whole look together with a bright tomato red lip which I also loved.

I achieved this look by using my Urban Decay X Gwen Stefanie Palette and a mix of some new Morphe Shadows which really impressed me quality wise and Pearl was almost like a foiled shadow when I damped my brush and it is a beautiful shade.
