MAC Iris Apfel: Flamingo

I didn't forget about the rest of the Iris Apfel lip sticks I swear! The color Flamingo is a light coral color and I decided to pair it with nice coral eye to match with a nice winged out eye liner. Flamingo is the first lip stick in the picture below.

• Lid- Instead of Early Bird, I used my 88 palette (coral color)
• Crease- Instead of using Howzat, I used my dupe Ulta Twilight
• Highlight-
• Liner- Jordana Liner in Rock On Silver with Silver Gull dupe on top and inner corner
• Mascara- Maybelline Lots of Lashes

I adore Taylor's look at the ACMA's last weekend!! Beautiful bronzed smokey eyes and a pale lip.. just loved it!!!

 I love how simplistic some of Blake's looks are, and then pow! a big bold bright lip that makes her stand out in a crowd. Pair it with black liner you've got yourself a Hollywood glam look!!

Kim's Wedding!!!!

I was so honored when one of my really good friends from High School asked me to do her makeup for her wedding.. I have known Kim since Freshman year and we were in choir all the way to Senior year. So I was absolutely thrilled when she asked for my help on her special day!! When it came to ideas that she wanted she had given me looks of a bright pink crease and a clean eye lid.

Brides Makeup:

EYES

• Base- Urban Decay Primer Potion
• Lid- Urban Decay Naked Palette (Virgin)
• Crease- 120 palette (2 colors bright peony) and mixed with Naked Palette (Toasted and Smog)
• Highlight- Naked Palette (Virgin) in the brow bone and inner corner
• Liner- I used Styli-Style liquid liner and smudged it a little with 120 palette (black shadow) and did the same on the lower lash line, we also used Styli-Style line and seal liner in Extreme Black on her tight line. I used Virgin on the inner lower lash line too.
• Mascara- Cover Girl Lash Blast Volume in Very Black

CHEEKS

• Foundation- We used a Benefit Play Stick in (I think it was Spin the Bottle)
• Concealer- Benefit Erase Paste in Fair ( I really loved working with this stuff!!)
• Blush- Benefit Sugar Bomb

LIPS

• We first used a lip stain that was WAY too dark for her complexion so we put the erase paste on top and then we used a gloss I think it was L'oreal brand and it was long lasting and light pink

Makeup Geeks weekly challenge is inspired by Spring and what is more spring than flowers? I decided to do a popping pink look based off my favorite flowers: Peonies.

My Little Pony: Summer Bloom

This look is inspired by Summer Bloom, a pretty yellow pony with a fade into a delicate rose color almost penny like with a bright pink mane..

• Crease- 120 palette (Pink) to match her mane.
• Highlight- Urban Decay Naked Palette in Virgin
• Liner- On top Wet N Wild Black Sparkle liner. On the bottom I used NYX JP in Rust in the water line and on the lower lash line I used Color Me Glow Profusion palette (Tan/pink) and then I used the same yellow color on the outer lash line. I also used a glitter that was a rose pink color from my Claire's glitter stacks.

Christina Aguilera: The Voice Blind Auditions Look

I've been waiting to do this look for a while, the first look of the season 2's Blind Auditions!! Christina Aguilera is just looking fabulous and I can't wait to do future makeup looks from here during this season. There's two from this week's solo and elimination round that are to die for... She has herself an awesome makeup team :)    This look was a lot of fun to do.. perfect for a holiday occasion or just a night out on the town

• Base-Hard Candy Shimmer Shadow Stick in Spirited
• Lid-  Wet n Wild loose shimmer in Golden Poppy and Claires Glitter Stacks in Silver and kinda mixed the two to get the gold color I wanted.
• Crease- 120 palette (black)
• Highlight- Ulta in Stardust on brow bone and inner corner
• Liner- On top I used NYX Skinny Marker and on my tight line and lower lash line I used Wet N Wild Black Sparkle liner. Then I blended 120 (matte black) on top of the lower lash line.
• Mascara- Maybelline Lots of Lashes
