Jennifer Lopez: American Idol Top 12 Guys

This is the start to a series of  Jennifer Lopez inspired looks. I have been watching this season in awe because her makeup artist Mary Phillips really knocks it out of the park every week. This look I have been searching to find what type of products Mary used to complete this glorious pink smokey eye so that I could purchase this item but no such luck on finding the product so I had to improvise. Colour Pop makes amazing pigmented shadows and so I mixed two of their super shock shadows in this recreation, Fantasy and Drifter and I think I got pretty close to the end results.

Christina Aguilera: The Voice Blind Auditions

I am so excited that Christina is back judging on The Voice! Growing up I was greatly influenced by Christina Aguilera's music and her voice. She is a legend in her own right, that's for sure.. I am enjoying this mix of judges as well.. Blake and Adam are so much fun, then you have Pharrell who is quiet and confident and he is very knowledgeable and I love how he just stares at the singers in wonderment and then you have Christina with her powerhouse vocals and her gorgeous makeup every week and the Blinds have been no exception with her signature red lip she paired it with a pretty neutral eye with a graphic crease and lots of black liner. She also had a very bronzy look so I wanted to make my look very golden goddess. It's a look that I just couldn't put out of my mind and I had to re-create.

Cinderella Premiere: Lily James

I have a confession to make... I am OBSESSED with Lily James!  Seriously... her dress at the red carpet premiere was everything. That Elie Saab gown was such a stunner with every detail, the beading, the floral applique, the pockets. Even her accessories were on point with the theme of the movie, the Charlotte Olympia clock clutch and of course those glorious Christian Louboutin crystal encrusted heels. My gushing wouldn't be complete without saying something about her makeup, it was so fresh! So bright and springy, and boy aren't we all wishing for spring to come? She was such the modern day princess..

Oscars 2015: Lady Gaga

I'm almost done with my Oscars Series, I have one more after this inspired by Anna Kendrick, but today the makeup look was inspired by Lady Gaga. I have to be honest that I didn't like her outfit especially the red gloves but it was a look that screamed Lady Gaga so I wouldn't expect her in anything less.. however I did love her Sound of Music performance, she did a stellar job and really showcased how talented she is. The look consisted of pink glittery eye and a bright red lip. Her makeup artist Sara Tanno, used all Nars products to complete her look.

Oscars 2015: Jennifer Lopez

My absolute favorite look of the Oscars was none other than Miss Jennifer Lopez in her stunning Elie Saab princess gown. It was everything!! She was such a glowing goddess who really did show the up and comers how it was done. She also had a really pretty coral/pink shadow and a light pink lip that I knew I had to re-create. Her makeup artist Mary Phillips used all L'oreal Paris products, including the Miss Manga Black Angel Mascara, Pro-last color in Timeless Rose, and the new, unreleased Colour Riche La PaletteNude. I know that J.Lo and I do not have the same skin tone but I wanted to try and duplicate that glowy skin and bright pink lip that complementary to my skin tone.
