MAC Hello Kitty Face Chart: Stylin'

Friday's look was also a Hello Kitty look based on the face chart Stylin'

Here is my look:


Here's how I did the look:

EYES

• Base- I used Pixie from Wet N Wild
• Lid- Instead of using Milk Pigment, I used Archetype Minerals in China White on the lid
• Crease- Instead of using Lucky Tom and Stylin in the crease, I used Dark Brown and Grey from the Day To Play palette (for Lucky Tom) and I used Urban Decay shadow in Ransom and LA. Color Palette Devious (3rd-4th color for Stylin) but only in the inner and outer crease.
  
• Highlight- Milk pigment dupe
• Liner- It says to used a black liquid liner but I used Black Bean (NYX Jumbo Pencil) on the top and wing it out and thicken the line for some drama. For the lower lash line I used the same black and mixed it with the colors I used for Stylin' and then it says to used Girl Groove glitter liner but I used a multicolored glitter liner or you could used a white/teal sparkle liner
  
• Mascara- Pulse Perfection

CHEEKS

• Foundation- True Match
• Blush- Instead of Tahitian Sand, I used N.Y.C. Chrome Color in Sunstone

LIPS

• Lip Stick- Instead of Fresh Brew, I used Breeze from Wet N Wild
• Lip Gloss- Instead of Mimmy and Nice To Be Nice, I used lip glosses from N.Y.C Pink Kiss and Cappuccino.
  

MAC Hello Kitty: She Loves Candy

Thursday's look was from the MAC face chart: She Loves Candy from the Hello Kitty collection. The Hello Kitty collection is great, it's what really got me into recreating the MAC face charts, in fact I think it's the first face charts I ever did, so I love re-creating these looks

and this is my version of the same look:


Here's how I did the look:

EYES

• Base- I used pixie from Wet N Wild
• Lid- On the inner and outer part of the lid, instead of using Romping, I used two different colors from L.A. Color Palettes Carnival (bright pink) and Lollipop (2nd color)
• Crease- Instead of using Milk pigment I used Archetype in China White on the middle of the crease and then in the inner crease, I used the Romping dupe.
• Liner- I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean on the top, on the bottom lash line instead of Too Dolly, I used Ulta shadow in Key West, also line bottom with black liner
• Highlight- Instead of using Yogurt, I used the cream color from the L.A. Color palette in Darling
• Mascara-Pulse Perfection

CHEEKS

• Foundation- True Match
• Blush- Instead of Tippy, I used Flirt! in Crazy in Love, then instead of using Very Pink glitter I swept Archetype Mineral in Plastic Pink

LIPS

• Lip Stick- Instead of using Strayin, I used Wet N Wild in Nouveau Pink
• Lip Gloss- Instead of She Loves Candy, I used N.Y.C. Liquid Lip Color in Iced Orchid

Temptalia: Let's go to the Tropics look

It's been a while since I've updated this thing but I have a lot of new stuff on the way, the look I did for I think Wednesday is the Temptalia look "Let's go to the Tropics" but silly me I never took a full face shot and only have pictures of my eyes.

and here is my look:


Here's how I completed the look:
EYES

• Base- I used Pixie from Wet N Wild
• Lid- Instead of using Stacked 2 Pigment from MAC (a gold green color) I used Archetype Minerals in False Spring, your supposed to mix it with a mixing medium so I kinda wet my brush a little before applying. Inner Third: Instead of using Going Bananas, I used the light yellow in the Hazel eyes shimmer strips from Physician's Formula. Middle Third: I used Green Apple, instead of Bio Green ( a grassy green) Middle to Outer lid: Instead of using Shimmer Moss, I used two different colors from the Claire's palette I have.Outer Third: Instead of using Freshwater, I used a dark blue from the Claire's palette and bring into lower crease.
• Crease- Instead of using Electric Eel, I used L.A. Color palette in Tease (blue), above the crease use Going Bananas dupe
• Highlight- I used the white/gold color from the Claire's palette instead of Nylon
• Liner- Instead of using 7L liner, I used Jordana liner in Bliss and then underneath I used the Going Bananas dupe.
• Mascara- Pulse Perfection
  

Country Time Lemonade

So lately I have been getting into watching RuPaul's Drag Race, I don't know what it is but it's just kinda entertaining and some of the people on that show have awesome makeup looks..Okay besides the fact that I got my inspiration from RuPaul, I love this color combo.. Springy and def. reminds me of Lemonade

So here is the look:

and here's how I did it:

EYES

• Base- NYX Jumbo Pencil in Yellow all over the lid
• Lid- NYX trio in Serengeti (the first color kinda a bright yellow)
• Crease- I used NYX jumbo pencil in Strawberry Milk then I used Lid Neon palette (pink) and Sally Girl shadow in Rose, then I used two colors from the claires palette to define the eye more, but a dark plum/maroon color could work
• Highlight- Ulta in Flutter
• Liner- I goofed and should have used a black liquid liner on the top, but in the picture I used NYX jumbo pencil in Black Bean for my tight line and waterline. On the lower lashline I used NYX yellow again with the lid color on top with a little of Taylor Made Minerals in Sunflower, kinda going into the inner corner. Then I used NYX Strawberry Milk on outer lash line and then I put rose over it with the colors from Claires palette

LIPS

• Lip Stick- Nouveau Pink from Wet N Wild

New Lip Sticks!

Here is the newest lip colors I bought:
These are all from Wet N Wild!

The first color is called Tokoyo-A-Pink which the tube looks more coral than it shows on camera

This one is Dark Wine and it's pretty true to color but the tube looks darker

This one is Taj Mauve- Hal and it's slightly lighter than Dark Wine

The last color is Blushing Bali and it's kinda a neutral color but still pretty

Candy Series: Cookie's N Creme Hearts

Still into the spirit of Valentine's Day, I've been meaning to do an inspired look by these holiday treats:


and here's what I came up with:


Here's what I used:
EYES

• Base- NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk on the lid and spread it up to the brow
• Lid- I used NYX eye shadow in White
• Crease- Ulta shadows in Plum Smoke (which it looks brown) and Granite, mixed with Day to play palette (Dark Brown)
• Liner- I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Hot Pink and winged it out, on top I placed Archetype Minerals in Plastic Pink on the top lash line. On the lower lash line (inner) I used Milk and white shadow and (middle) I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Dark Brown and the browns I used in the crease. With the Dark Brown I put 3 dots on the inner like the candy itself.
• Highlight- Ulta in Iceland and also add it in the inner corners
  
• Mascara- Pulse Perfection

Valentines Day Look!

Happy Valentine's Day to all!!! Today I went to a Valentine's Day Tea with my mother and her red hat friends and it was a lot of fun! A lot of food, treats and a quartet came and sang to one of the ladies.

Here's today's look:


EYES

• Base- NYX Jumbo Pencil in Strawberry Milk
• Lid- Inner- I used Archetype Minerals Fuschia's For Simon , and then in the middle and outer with Archetype Plastic Pink and then in the middle I used Archetype Minerals Lisa Busted Camero . Also on the outer lid I used She Space Minerals Oh! You Jealous Girl
  
• Crease- I used She Space Mineral in Symphony Of Chaos
  
• Highlight-A pink from Claire's Palette
• Liner- NYX Jumbo Pencil in Purple on the top and bottom lid w/ Symphony of Choas over it + Suicide Bride in the inner lower lash line
  
• Mascara-Pulse Perfection
