Oscars 2015: Dakota Johnson

So I have 2 more Oscars posts coming down the pike and this one was inspired by Dakota Johnson and what attracted me to her beauty look was that bronze-red smoky eye paired with the classic red lip. I also really liked her red Saint Laurent column dress with the silver strap detailing and mixed it up with the simple pony tail. I have to say when I first heard Dakota was casted in Fifty Shades Of Grey I wasn't too thrilled, but I saw the film and actually liked her more after and then she hosted SNL over the weekend and I just kept liking her more and more. The majority of products her makeup artist used was from Chanel. I tried my hardest to find dupes to recreate this look. The Rimmel pencil I used was in the place of the Chanel Stylo Yeux waterproof eye liner Marron Glacé and she lightly feathered the color through her crease and smudged it out, and then I used a dupe for Chanel Rouge Gabrielle and then I blotted with a tissue and applied the lip stick again focusing more in the center for that bitten look.

Oscars 2015: Margot Robbie

I should have had at least 3 other Oscar looks posted by now and I have been tripped up on this Margot Robbie look for quite sometime.. most lip colors were too red, some were too orange but never fear I have completed the challenge and I think I found the perfect combination to re-create this look.  Margot Robbie's Oscar look was like a vintage dream with a modern day twist. That Orange-Red lip was just glorious and though I have yet to see anything she has acted in, She was in my top 3 of best makeup looks of the Oscars. Her black Saint Laurent dress complemented the Aussie's glamorous face and even though the makeup artist Tyron Macchausen states they went Au natural with her eye makeup I see almost a burgundy brown shadow around her eyes and I can't shake the fact that there is no makeup on her eyes besides a little liner and mascara! I just can't!

Here's the look:

Oscars 2015: Emma Stone Look

The Oscars were on just this past weekend and everyone seemed to step up their beauty and fashion game. Emma Stone was one of my picks for best dressed of the night. She wore a gorgeous chartreuse custom number by Elie Saab and it was truly stunning. It almost gave us more hope for spring around the corner.

Rachel Goodwin was her makeup artist and she put her in a beautiful coral lip that I have been trying to match for a couple days and it just wasn't coming out the way I wanted to, so I bit the bullet and purchased the actual lip stick color she used Revlon Ultra HD Lip Stick in Tulip and I am very happy with my purchase!! What a wonderfully creamy lip stick!! To my surprise it smells very fruity right off the bat which I didn't mind but some people may.

Bella Thorne "The Duff" Premiere Look

A couple days ago I saw an advanced screening of the Duff, and while I was looking up reviews I found a picture of Bella Thorne at the movie premiere for the Duff. It wasn't anything crazy but just a nice simple look, kind of just a romantic date night look. As for the movie I thought it was really cute, yes it was predictable but it had a great message and it was funny. The message of the movie is to accept yourself for who you are and being comfortable in your own skin, which is something a lot of us lose track of.
