GG Nails: Ink Blot Serena Van Der Woodsen Inspired "The Undergraduates"

The next nail art inspiration is brought to us by Miss Serena Van Der Woodsen's Dress from I believe Season 4 " The Undergraduates" It was a really cool  ink blot looking dress with a bright pop of teal.

Gossip Girl Nail Art:Blair Waldorf "Despicable B"

My next nail art was inspired by Blair's outfit in Gossip Girl Season 5 "Despicable B" Another Summery fun kind of nail art. Oranges and purple flowers. I tried to copy the dress on my nails and then I used OPI Super Bass Shatter from the Nicki Minaj Collection on every other nail.

My B-day Nails

This year I turned 25.... I feel so old!!! I decided to do a B-day inspired nail design.  I found a really cool idea on a nail blog to make your nails look like jelly and then I made a pink cupcake because I LOVE cupcakes!! For the rainbow sprinkles I used  Rainbow in the Sky-lie from the Nicole Kardashian Kollection.

Gossip Girl Nails: Blair Waldorf " I am Number Nine" Inspired

This nail art was inspired by Blair Waldorf's outfit in Gossip Girl Season 5 " I am Number Nine" She is wearing a bright top with lemons and a skirt that is part white and beige. So I decided to divide half the nail one with lemons and the other with begie color with two stripes of green and white. It was a cute idea for summer.

I'm so excited that I finally got to design these nails.. being a huge fan of Gossip Girl, I always look out for Nail art inspired by the show.. I never really see much of it on the web.  So I have decided to do nail art inspired by favorite shows  Gossip Girl and Glee.  These nails have been in my head for a long time I finally sat down and painted out my vision, they are inspired by Blair Waldorf's Alice + Olivia dress from Season 2 ep 1 "Summer Kind of Wonderful", one of my favorite Blair outfits.

NYE Nails!

I actually designed my nails on New Years Day, in the first picture my nails say "Happy New Year" and Cosmo drink on the thumb. The second pic is "2012" with another cosmo drink on the other thumb

Green Ice nails

 This was just something I was playing around with.. I really liked my reindeer nails but I was kinda ready for new nails.. so I decided to stick with the Christmas theme almost like a snowy nail, I guess was my thought lol

I liked how it turned out but it had no staying power, and the glitter kept cracking off, but though I would share my experimental look :)

I found a girl with the same kind of look on her Tumblr, I thought it was really cute and decided to do a version of my own.. Cutesy little reindeer <3

Chuck Bass inspired nails

I had done these earlier in the fall, but never posted them.. inspired by one of my favorite characters on Gossip Girl, Mr. Chuck Bass and his memorable outfits.

Here's what  I came up with:

Rugrat Nails

I found this tutorial on Youtube, I grew up on 90's Nick and came across this Rugrat's tutorial for Chuckie and I loved it and I had to recreate this..

Thumb- to represent Chuckie's hair with beige polish and a reddish orange (whatever best matches his hair)

Pointer- to represent his glasses I used beige polish and purple for his rims

Middle- represent his shirt, I used a baby blue polish and yellow circle and red polish for the rings

Ring- represent his shorts, I used dark green polish with light green nail art for squiggles

Pinky- Represent his shoes, yellow polish and red.

Watermelon Crawl

When deciding how to do my next nail art I thought what would summer be without Watermelon? So I designed a watermelon french.. I guess that's what you'd call it lol









all you need is a hot pink polish paint all the the way until you reach the white part of your nail, then you can take a dotting tool or free hand (which is the route I took) and make dots (seeds) with a black polish finishing the look with a lime green polish ( I know I used China Glaze) and then a top coat and your done :)

Scream Nails

So I am a HUGE Scream fan and I've been waiting to see the 4th one for almost 2 years... and in honor of the film I created Scream nails!!!!

I'm Shattered...

I recently purchased OPI Black Shatter and I really like it! I will say the downfall is the bottle is $10, so it's pricey but if you like to rock the shattered look then I say it's well worth it.
