Jennifer Garner Inspired Spring Look

So Spring is supposedly around the corner, I haven't really seen it yet, because I live in MI but I'm hopeful it's coming around the bend.  I saw a picture last week of Jennifer Garner at the Miracles in Heaven premiere and she looked like such a doll! I loved the pink floral dress she wore with the pockets and I swear she is one of those people who never age..  She was looking fresh and bright with a coral pink lip and a minimal brown smokey eye. I loved everything about this look!

Oscars 2016: Saoirse Ronan

This was last look I loved from the Oscars, and it was none other than Saoirse Ronan. I loved everything about this look from her dress to her tousled waves. I actually haven't seen a movie that she's been in, I don't think...except for maybe The Lovely Bones, but I really don't remember it.  Saorise wore this gorgeous emerald green gown from Calvin Klein, almost like a sequined mermaid, and who doesn't want to look like a mermaid?

Her makeup artist Mai Quyhn chose a smoky grey and charcoal palette but I love that she also incorporated the jewel toned green into the look as well which all complemented the dress nicely.

Her Makeup Artist Mai Quyhn used a mix of silver and pink on the lid and then complemented the dress with a soft pink lip.

Oscars 2016: Rachel Mcadams

I've got two more Oscars looks yet to go, and this one was from Rachel Mcadams she was also a top fashion favorite for me on the Red Carpet, I loved her deepened teal Austin Getty Atelier halter dress. I also can't wait to see Spotlight, Rachel is one of my favorite actresses all the way back to when she starred in The Hot Chick.. lol
One thing I learned while researching her makeup look, is that her sister Kayleen Mcadams dolled up her sister for the occasion. I thought that was really cool to hear! Kayleen used mostly Chanel products so I tried to find some cheaper alternatives. I choose to do Rachel's look because I loved pop of green liner and it just looked really fresh and springy.

Oscars 2016: Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has just been killing it recently, especially after that amazing red glitter look that she had on at the Superbowl. Her look was just so poised and classy, but still being very Gaga. She wore this amazing white jumpsuit dress that no one else could have pulled off except for her.

I tried my hardest to find dupes for her look, she used all Sisley Paris products which was very hard to find swatches for, and when I did find them the first time I tried to recreate this look it was way too dark so the second time I tried it out I just went with what I saw in the picture and focused more on the peachy tones and used the dark colors very subtly and I loved the results

Oscars 2016: Brie Larson

Brie Larson was a standout for me on the Oscars red carpet, I was so happy that she won for Room, even though I have yet to see it. I have to say that I have always been a fan of Brie Larson's, I definitely have a couple of her songs on my ipod... yes Brie used to be a pop star back in the day.. ugh that high school angst.
Moving on..

So Brie wore this beautiful jewel toned blue on the red carpet with a really gorgeous flower beading around her waist. Her makeup complemented the look with a nice light pink eye with a purple liner and a bright fuchsia berry lip. I also really loved her hair with all the intricate detailing.

Her makeup artist Rachel Goodwin used all Chanel products, but luckily I have found dupes for most of the products she used on Brie.

Oscars 2016: Emily Blunt

I've finally got around to recreating some Oscars looks, I believe I have 5 looks that I will be doing. Today's look was inspired by Emily Blunt's Rosy look, she looked so stunning with her glowing complexion, of course it was a natural pregnancy glow. Emily Blunt is one of those actresses that always seem to get it right on the red carpet, almost like a regal quality and I loved this blush or Rose Quartz colored Prada Gown, which is one of the Pantone colors of the year.

I found it fascinating that her makeup artist Jenn Streitcher, used Pinterest as inspiration for her makeup look. Pinterest really does have some awesome makeup looks that spark creativity.  She used a majority of  Laura Mercier products, which I did not own so I had to come up with some dupes to recreate this soft pink look of gorgeousness.

First off for the Caviar Sticks in Rose Gold and Grey Pearl, I first used The Balm Batter Up eye pencil in Moonshot and Colour Pop shadow in Amaze, I also used Colour Pop Mixed Tape for my Grey Pearl dupe. She also used a matte shadow in the crease called Cashmere and I found Almond Truffle from my Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette was a great double for this color.  The one discovery I was excited about was for the blush instead of using Shimmer Bloc Pink Mosiac, I used a cheaper alternative with my Wet N Wild Higlighter in Catwalk Pink, exact same shades in both of these. Then I finished of the look with Colour Pop Skimpy and Bound mixed, to give the same Pinky-Nude color as Amaretto Swirl.
