Glam bags part 3

It's almost 2014!! I can't believe how fast this year has flown.. I have been busy moving in with my fiance and transitioning all of that and I haven't been posting as much as I said I would. One of my resolutions next year will be to write more in here and become a little more inspired to post pictures.

I had just recently got my December Glam Bag so I thought I would share the rest of my bags for the year.

JULY: I don't have the bag at my place but that was a transparent pink bag and I also had the Soy Beach spray and the Coola sunscreen.

POP Beauty Pouty Pop Crayon in Coral and it shows a little more pink than it looks in real life and it has a minty taste to it.

Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub: it's a really nice product and it smells great.

BH Cosmetics California Trio: Not the greatest payoff color wise I would say Hollywood is my least favorite because it just doesn't give great color with its matte finish. Malibu is my favorite of the three.

AUGUST: purple bag with a gold crest.

Mica Beauty Eye Powder in Bronze I really like and use as a Bronzer.
Smash box primer is a great product so much that I have already used it up.

Michael Todd Pumpkin Face Mask: I haven't used yet but it has a great pumpkin scent.

Urban Decay mini sample lipstick in 69: I really like the color

Pixie mascara in brown: not one I would be using because I don't like brown Masacra.

SEPTEMBER: Blue bag with black lace flowers and butterflies
Jessie's Girl eye liner brush: I haven't used it yet but it looks like it would be great for defining and details.

J Cat in Honey: really pretty color!

Caitlyn's tinted lip balm in Big Apple: although they give you a lip brush I just hate how dry this product goes on and as you can see not evenly either.

NYX shadow in Purple: it's a nice color, that's all.

It's So Big Mascara: I like this product doesn't really clump and goes on nice

NOVEMBER: glitzy gold scales with pink trim
Be a Bombshell in Hot Damn: I really like the lip crayons I feel like they are easy to navigate with

Nailtini in Caviar Cocktail really pretty silver slate color.

Pixie in Subtley Suntouched: not my favorite in this bag I just doesn't do much for my complexion.

Em Michelle Phan Mascara: haven't used it but it's brown so prob won't be using it much.

Starlooks liner in Ameythst: my favorite product in the bag, really fun and metallic

HSI Argan Oil: haven't used it yet but love  anything Argan oil.

DECEMBER: cool black and red interior
I have yet to try any of these products but I have tried the Be a Bombshell one stick and I like it and NYX products are always great.

Looking forward to seeing what 2014 brings..

Britney Spears-Work B**ch Music Video Look

It's finally out guys!! On Tuesday, Britney Spears released her 8th album "Britney Jean" and it's beyond amazing.. seriously. It's one of those records that you don't want to skip a song and every track has it's own special sound and flavor... ok I'll stop my inner stan is showing..
Yesterday's look was inspired by Brit's video for Work B**ch, which by the way is just fabulous in itself.. she looks great and dances like she used to and I have to admit I have been trying to nail the choreography for a few weeks now. (I'm getting good!!)  This look isn't really anything spectacular but I wanted to an inspired look from her, it's just a smokey grey eye with a nude lip.

The Voice: Christina Aguilera Top 10 Inspired Look

Today's look is yet again inspired by Christina Aguilera's makeup in the top 10 performance rounds. I tried to follow what her makeup artist Scott Barnes had done by using a hot pink shadow and an eggplant color layered over it and it came out a little more purple than his finished product but I still thought it was pretty.. always a fan of purples because they always make my eyes pop just a little bit more and give it more of a green appearance.. my eyes change colors all the time though lol

Halloween Pics and New things coming soon...

I have a lot of reviews and swatches to cover on new products, tons of Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato makeup looks.. In celebration of Britney Jean, I will be doing a Britney Spears week starting on Sunday. I have been slacking on doing nail art pretty much this whole year. I hope to have a Thanksgiving and Christmas nail art coming and lots of sparkle looks and while were on the subject of holidays I would like to share a picture of my costume.. I don't know exactly what it's called but I was really into the zipper face thing and had some fun with it.. maybe a little Gaga inspired too. a lot of my friends have said Nightmare Before Christmas.

Things I used:

NYX Jumbo Pencils in Milk and Black Bean, Black Dog shadow from UD Black Palette, Lime Crime Lip Stick in Serpentina and a zipper kit from Party City. I also used lash glue to apply it, I wouldn't advise doing that because it was a little painful to remove. I also used a lady gaga wig and Naked palette for the normal side of my face lol

Movie Inspired: Thor 2

My guy, our friend and I went to see Thor 2 this past weekend, and it was pretty good! I'm always a sucker for the super hero movies I have to say, but this look was inspired by the Thor 2 movie poster and Thor's outfit. Since Thor is from another planet, I thought this would be a great opportunity to try out my new Galaxy Chic Palette from BH Cosmetics. (which I will do a review about eventually.. but these are baked shadows and they can be applied dry or wet..I used some wet and some dry)

Here's my look:

Wedding Post: Amanda and Edward Graves

I had the honor and privilege of doing my friends makeup for her wedding last month in October. Amanda and I have known each other since middle school and we have always participated in choir together. When she asked me to do her makeup I was thrilled!! I had asked her to provide a photo of inspiration to go by because when your the bride you want to look beautiful and confident but also be comfortable on your big day.

Here's the inspiration: She wanted more of a light smokey eye, nothing too dramatic and she wanted to try out red lips and false lashes

Sephora Little Mermaid Look

This look is from the Sephora website based of the amazing Ariel Story Look Palette (which is gorgeous and not to mention hard to find) Its a very cool ethereal teal and green look and I used my own dupes for the colors to achieve this look.

My version of the look:

Here's what I used:
• Base- Urban Decay 24/7 Pencil in Sin
• Lid- In the middle on the lid blending inward instead of using Your Voice, I used Geek Chic pigment in Mana Battery. In the outer part of the lid instead of using Fins, I used Urban Decay in Graffiti. In the inner corner instead of Atlantis, I used Hard Candy in Dillusional (compact) the light green color.
•Crease- In the crease I used my dupe for Fins and the in the outer crease instead of using Caspian, I used Unhinged from the Urban Decay Vice Palette.
•Highlight- Instead of using Seashells, I used Wet N Wild Walking on Eggshells (brow)
•Liner- I used Your Voice dupe on the lower lash line and then the Fins dupe from the middle of the lash line and then lastly the Caspian was placed on the outer lower lash line. Then I brought the Atlantis dupe into the inner lower lash line
•Mascara- I used Maybelline Rocket, which I really love!

New Products: NYC, Wet N Wild and Urban Decay

IHere's some of the most recent products  I've purchased:

NYC Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm: These smell like apples!! They are super cute with little apples in the center I just couldn't resist!!

Two on the left

Applelicious Pink

It's a Rosie pink color that looks really pretty on

Blushing Golden

It's more of a frosted light pink/beige color

Wet N Wild Megalast Liquid Lip Color in Click On My Hyperpink

I really wanted a bright bubblegum pink color but this is like Nicki Minaj pink. There's a few things I don't like about this lip gloss the smell and its really sticky and a pain in the butt to take off.

Urban Decay Liner in 1999 and Lucky

They look like this:
1999 is a pretty purple/gold color and Lucky is a coppery orange color both are just gorgeous!!
