A Diva is the Female Version of a Hustla.

I have been playing with the new (couple months new) Colourpop collab with Shayla for a few weeks now and I have to say I think they changed the formula on their shimmer shades.. The Perception palette has the most creamiest shimmer shades, ooooooh they are so good! I am so impressed..  I really like the way this Halo eye came out.

She also came out with a few lip products and with this look I used Quickie, a really nice nude shade and I still love the formula on these lip sticks, I need to eventually get them all..

 Here's my look:

Billboard Awards: Taylor Swift

Last Sunday we were graced with Taylor Swift's presence at the Billboard Awards and it was a welcomed change after not being on a red carpet for 2 years. I can't say that I loved her dress.. the color washed her out and it was just two many details for me.. after saying that she was my best dressed at the awards because really not many people made great fashion choices that night.

Taylor's makeup however was gorgeous and it was in true Swift fashion with the cat eye and the dark lip with a berry tone. I had just received the new Colourpop Palette in Fame and with this being a cool toned look, it was very easy to recreate with this cool toned palette. I love all of Colourpop's palettes and this one is fantastic. I feel like they have reformulated the shimmers because they are so soft but they are very pigmented and have a high shine. Extravaganza is probably my favorite out of the bunch because of how blinding it was.

Lucy Hale: Golden Goddess

A few months back I was scrolling through my Instagram and I came across a post from Lucy Hale's makeup artist Allan Avendano, Lucy was doing press for her new movie Truth or Dare, which I still really want to see.. anyway the shadow was so pretty, he had used Pat McGrath's gold shadow, which I didn't have but the closest thing I had was one of the new Colourpop Super Star pigments. These can be really great but they have to be applied wet, if these are applied dry they are a hot mess.. I mixed Golightly with the shade Euphoria from the BH Festival palette to give that really foiled look.

For the lip I used a more newer product from Colourpop which is their new Lux Matte lipsticks which are really nice and comfortable and they are supposed to blur your lips.

Margot Robbie Wore White Eyeliner So I tried It Too...

I would advise anyone who wants to try wearing white eyeliner not to do it when you are sick because you will give off the appearance that you are a sickly corpse. I know because I tried this when I was sick and I looked even more ghostly than I am.  The technique I tried was to line your eyeliner with an almost white concealer and then layered it on top with a white liquid liner from the Wet N Wild Goth O Graphic Collection in the shade Skull Prayer. I never have good luck with any of their liquid liners and I have no idea why I still purchase them lol. I had to really layer on the liner without making is look like it's cracking.

Deja Boo

I originally did this look on 4/20 and I didn't take any pictures of it. So.. I had to wait and recreate it another time. It was also the first time that I tried out the new Milk Kush mascara which is bomb! This mascara has Cannabis oil in it but it doesn't have any THC properties so you cannot get high when you wear it. I have been wearing this mascara for at least 3 weeks now and I really love the way that it makes my lashes look and they don't feel like they have a ton of product on them and what's nice is you can layer it without it looking clumpy. Side note: the packaging is heavier than I had imagined it would be and you could definitely knock someone out with it.

Getting back to the eye shadows.. Colourpop had a beautiful array of unique greens in their Festival collection and they paired fantastically with the teal shades.

Prelude to Spring

One of my favorite palettes of the moment has to be the BH Cosmetics Festival Palette. It's just so pretty, pigmented and the colors are so fun! I still haven't tried using all the shades yet but I have really enjoyed using it.

Colourpop also came out with more of their Supernova shadows, which are more of the pastel variety. I find with a few of these that they can get a little patchy and it's best to layer them on top of a shadow that way they look a little more opaque. Prelude is a warm peach shimmer and worked great with this palette.

A few months back Colourpop came out with their Spring collection of super shock shadows to bring the color back to Colourpop. The shades are all different colors and some I still haven't played around with. Special Delivery was the first one that caught my eye.. I tend to gravitate towards Orange and Mermaid colors. It Takes Two To Mango

Colourpop doesn't just slay me with their products but also the names of their products and the ones from their Festival collection are no exception. Two To Mango is such a cute name and on top of that it's a beautiful muted pink shade almost leaning on lilac. For this look I used all the coordinating blues and purple shades that I ordered, including this beautiful duo chrome shade called Fault Line.

I incorporated a new product from Colourpop into this look, their new satin blushes, which are so vibrant and fresh looking. The Winging it duo with the shades Whirl and Swirl, are the perfect pops of purple for Spring.

Still loving the Lux Lip formulation, Pinkie's Up is a beautiful rose nude shade, that's nice tone for those with fair skin.

I Flux With Felix

My favorite color in life is Orange, so I tend to gravitate towards orange lippies and get really excited about them.  Felix is a new Ultra Satin from Colourpop and it is such a stunning bright orange.. kinda reminds me of the Too Faced Liquid Lip in Mrs. Roper (which I also love) and I thought it would be kinda cool to add the Colourpop gel liner in Puppy to the mix, which is a bright orange but I only focused on the middle of the waterline and married the rest with a gold eye liner.

I got to use some more new super shock shadows from the Butterfly collection: Three's a Cloud, a goldie orange ultra metallic and Flux With You, which a light gold ultra glitter with silver sparkles.
