Super Bowl Sunday Look:

Ok so I have no real knowledge about football but like every other person I look forward to watching the Super Bowl every year. I love the commercials and I can not wait to watch the half time show this year, the freaking Who is playing!!! I didn't really have a favorite team but my fiance wants the Louisiana Saints to win so I'm supporting them :)



As you can see or know Saint colors are Black and Gold so I went for this...

Here's how I did the look:

EYES

• Base- Pixie from Wet N Wild
• Lid- Urban Decay Eye Shadow in El Dorado
• Crease- Jessie's Girl shadow (black w/ sparkles) and above the crease I used the 2nd gold color from L.A. Color Palette in Gold Rush
• Highlight- White/Gold color from Claires Palette
• Liner- NYX Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean with an angled brush and wing out the top lash line. On the bottom lash line line with Black Bean and then on top place Ornaments of Gold from Archetype Cosmetics (black pigment with gold sparkles)
• Mascara-Pulse Perfection

CHEEKS

• Foundation- True Match
• Blush- Neutrogena Soft Color blush in Sweet Raisin
• Bronzer- Flirt! Golden Minx

LIPS

• Lip Stick- Wet N Wild in Breeze (547B)
• Lip Gloss- I wanted the same effect as MAC glimmer glass in Bling Black (clear/black gloss with gold sparkles) so what I did was put tap black lipstick from Wet N Wild on top of the lip stick then I used a dual lip stick from Max Factor (gold gloss) and mixed them and then I put N.Y.C. Liquid Lip Gloss in Cappuccino on top of that.

New Products:Wet N Wild Mega Last Lip Color and new lip sticks!!

swatI had gotten some new lip sticks last week and I finally got the chance to post these pics.. they aren't the best because I did one after another but you get the jist of it.


This is one of the mega last lip colors and it's called Sugar Plum fairy and sadly when I tried to put this on the lip stick cracked a little so it doesn't have a smooth top but it was a really pretty purple berry color. Seems a lot darker in life


Another lasting lip color called Stoplight Red and seriously this picture does the lip stick no justice. It's RED. it looks pink here but trust me this is the truest red I have found so far, for cheap.. I know MAC has reds, but who can afford that this one was like $1.68 I think.

This is a N.Y.C. brand lip stick called Brandy Sparkle and it looks like it's not even on my lips but it really is a pretty color like a brown wine color

Another N.Y.C brand lip called Lilac Dream and it's more berry in the tube but still a pretty nice color

Mac Face Chart: Kumquat

This was my look for today based off the MAC Spring 2 Forecast Collection which is all about Oranges and Corals and luckily I took pictures right after I did this look because I went and saw Dear John today and basically bawled my eyes out and smeared my makeup lol so anyways.. here's the look:

Here's how it's done...
EYES

• Base-I used Wet N Wild creme pencil in Pixie all over my lid and browbone
• Lid- In the inner lid, Straw Harvest is supposed to be used.. kinda a yellow orange color, so I used L.A. Color Palette in Carnival (1st color..it looks yellow but comes off as a yellow orange. Then in the outer lid, instead of Perky (light pinkish salmon color) I used Think Pink a eye shadow from Revlon
• Crease- as a substitute for Hot Hot Hot (described as an orange with reddish tint) I used two colors.. a red from the Claires Palette and L.A. Colors Palette in Fiesta (3rd color) and then with a pencil brush I used a dark brown from my day to play palette to define it more.
• Highlight- Instead of Nano Gold I used a white gold from the Claire's palette
• Liner- Top and bottom liner I used Jessie's Girl shadow in black, instead of Carbon and then in the lower lash line I smoked it out and added Sephora Eye Kohl in Midnight Black.
• Mascara- Pulse Perfection

CHEEKS

• Foundation- True Match
• Blush- instead of using Ripe Peach Ombre blush which looks like this:
  

I used a mixture of Flirt! Blush in Heart Throb which matches the middle color and then I used Ulta shadows in Bermuda Sands, Seashell, and Knit and made my own ombre blush

LIPS

• Lip Stick- Instead of using Colour Me Coral I used Wet N Wild color Sunset Peach
  
• Lip Gloss- Instead of using Kumquat (orange gloss) I used an orange gloss called Orange Sherbet
  

Candy Series: Razzles

Yesterday's look was based off the Razzles candies. Is it a candy? or a gum? hmmmm... made popular again by one of my favorite movies 13 Going On 30.

I gave it more an 80's rocker look


Here's how I did it!

EYES

• Base- Inner:NYX jumbo pencil in Yellow, Outer: Rimmel Eyeful pencil in Flaunt
• Lid- Inner: Taylor Made Minerals in Sunflower and Lid Neon (Yellow)Outer: I used L.A. Colors Palette in Fiesta (the last color orange)
• Crease- I used a nylon and put Taylor Made Minerals Killer and She Space Mineral Twisted Psychic over the nylon to create a dotted pattern in the crease and over the lid and then I used a small brush and added the same colors to define it
• Liner- On the lower Lash line I used NYX Yellow on the inner corner and NYX Purple on the outer and over the yellow I used Sunflower again and over the purple base I used a dark purple from L.A. Colors Palette in Carnival. then I used a black liner in my water line.
• Mascara-Pulse Perfection

CHEEKS

• Blush- Flirt! Heart Throb

LIPS

• Lip Stick- Smooch from Wet N Wild
• Lip Gloss- I used a dual gloss from Max Factor (yellow) and added a little bit of Sunflower from Taylor Made Minerals and mixed it.

MAC Face Chart: Phlox

My look today was inspired from MAC's Spring Colour 1 Forecast Face Chart Phlox
I would have to say this look is really pretty, turned out a lot lighter than it looks on the face chart but it still had pretty combo colors


Here's how I did it:

EYES

• Base- NYX Jumbo Pencil in Strawberry Milk all over lid, spread out over brow bone
• Lid- Instead of Rosy Outlook I used a combo of L.A. Color Palette Serenade (1st color) and Pop Hazel light pink and then on top of that you would put crush metal pigment (dark purple) I used She Space Mineral A Little Bit Naughty.
• Crease- Instead of Very Violet I used the last two colors in the L.A. Palette in Lollipop, then on top of that instead of La La, I used the 2nd color in the Lollipop palette, and then instead of the crushed pigment, I used A little bit naughty again on top of all that
• Highlight- Instead of using crushed pigment (pale pink) I used She Space Minerals in Take the Cake
• Liner- Top lid I used Sephora Kohl in midnight black, on the lower lash line I used the same eye liner with Jordana Liner in Parisian Plum on top and then on top of that I used the La La substitute
• Mascara- Pulse Perfection

CHEEK

• Foundation as always True Match
• In a previous post I used my substitutes for Azalea Blossom. Flirt! blush in Urge, and Ulta shadows Passion Berry and Pashmina

LIPS

• Lip Stick- Instead of Phlox, I used Sunset Peach from Wet N Wild
• Lip Gloss- Instead of CultureClash I used N.Y.C Pink Kiss liquid lip gloss
  

Mac Face Chart: BubbleGum

Yesterday's look was based of the Mac Spring Colour 1 Forecast Face Chart called Bubblegum, the collection is mainly pink and purple looks, with really pretty shadows so I had to dupe them and here's the look:


I didn't get the chance to take a pic in the daylight which I like the way the natural shows the colors but this is still pretty..


Here's how I did it:

EYES

• Base- I used NYX jumbo pencil in Strawberry Milk on my lid and Pixie from Wet N Wild on my browbone
• Lid- It calls for Rosy Outlook on the inner lid, kinda sweeping up the inner crease, I used a mixture of the 1st pink in the L.A. Color Palette in Serenade and Physician's Formula Pop for hazel eyes.
• Crease- Starting on the outer lid and sweeping up the outer crease, put Very Violet, or I used a mixture of L.A. Color Palette in Lollipop (4th and 5th colors)
• Liner- On the top lid I used a black liquid liner, on the bottom lash line and waterline I used NYX jumbo pencil in Pots N Pans.
• Mascara- Pulse Perfection
• Highlight- Instead of Da Bling I used Ulta in Flutter on the brow bone

CHEEKS

• Foundation as always True Match
• MAC has a really cool blush out called Blush Ombres.. and I didn't have anything like them but I had a crazy idea and it worked. The face chart calls for Azelea Blossom like this:
  

So what I did was to use Flirt! Peek a Blush in Urge which is the color of the middle and I also added Ulta shadows in Pashmina and Passion Berry and I really liked the outcome.

LIPS

• Lip Stick- Instead of BubbleGum, I used Wet N Wild in Dark Pink Frost (502a) and Noveau Pink (511b)
• Lip Gloss- Instead of CultureClash, I used N.Y.C. Liquid Lip Shine in Pink Kiss
  

Favorite Fashions from the 2010 Grammy Awards!

Ok I know it's a ridiculous looking dress.. but knowing that this is Lady Gaga and expecting her to wear something like this... I think she looks glamorous, Ice queen solar system.. lol but for it being Lady Gaga I thought it looked great on her. The performance between her and Elton John was fantastic!! Loved the Mash up with "Your Song" and "Speechless"

Lea Michele, probably the best dressed of the night! She looked gorgeous in that dark blue/black dress, perfect for the Grammy's

Taylor Swift looked like a beautiful movie starlet in this gown..I have to give love to my celebrity twin lol SO proud of her for taking home best album of the year and 3 other awards last night :)


Forget Beyonce.. Ashanti look amazing in this gold number..she looked flawless!

I really liked Pink's dress I think it was pretty yet appropriate for the Grammy's

I love Carrie Underwood's dress but I don't like the random strap across her chest... I like her performance dress a lot more than this one. but still pretty!

I will say that Miley dressed age appropriate for the Grammy's this year and she looked great.. I didn't like the fake and bake tan.. makes her face look really weird IMO.

Those were the ones that really stood out last night.
