MAC Face Chart: Feline

Todays look is inspired by Feline from the Love Lace collection:

EYES

• Base- Instead of Blackground PP I used NYX jumbo pencil in Black Bean and I put that on my lid and my crease and spread it out.
• Lid-Inner and Outer lid I used Jessie's girl shadow in Black and on the middle of the lid, kinda like Suave Intentions, but it's in the 90 something Claire's palette the top color kinda tealish in color
• Crease- Used Jessie's girl black and instead of Love Lace, I used Ulta in Sapphire on top of Jessie's girl
• Highlight- Ulta eye shadow in Iceland
• Liner- Sephora liner in Midnight Black on top and bottom lashline. On the lower lash I used Sapphire and the teal Claire's color and mixed them together
• Mascara- Rimmel Eye Magnifier

CHEEKS

• I just bought the new True Match Roller from L'oreal Paris and it's kinda cool but I'm still working on it..in w1-2
• They used Dame from Mac as a blush but I don't really have a comparable color so I mixed Flirt! Peek-a-Blush in Urge and Ulta shadow in Key West and blended them together to give it that blue tone

LIPS

• Instead of using Intricate I mixed Jane sheer lip stick in Roseberry for the purple color and Ulta lip color in Snowflake Shimmer
• I didn't have Icescape so I mixed a clear lip gloss with Archetype mineral make up in Verre De Soie to give the pink sparkles
  

Friday Island Paradise..

Today I wanted to just do a rainbow look.. I went to the dentist today and I'm still numb so I just have an eye look today... The colors are from this color palette:
It's L.A. Colors Palette in Lush.

Here's the look:



EYES

• Base- I used NYX jumbo pencil in Milk all over the lid and brow bone
• Lid-Inner I used the Yellow, the middle the Purple, and outer Blue
• Crease-Inner- Yellow, Middle-Purple and I used an orange color from Ulta in Knit
• Highlight- White
• Lower lashline- Teal on the outer/middle and White on the inner
• Liner-Top- LA Splash liquid eyeliner in Kryptonite and then place Archetype mineral makeup in La Bella Donna over it and the lower lashline
• Mascara- Rimmel Eye Magnifier Exact Definition

Mac Face Chart: All's Good

This was my look today for work. All's Good from the MAC All Ages,All Races,All Sexes Collection and here it is:


Here's all I used:
EYES

• Base- Wet N Wild creme eye shadow in Pixie
• Eye Lid-On the inner and outer corners, they have the pigment Rich Life. I don't have a pigment of that exact type but they described it as a blue-brown pigment so I used Xibalba by Archetype Cosmetics it's a brownish taupe color with silver and blue sparkles
• Crease- Mac uses Banshee shadow which I duped with a color from my Day To Play Palette from Pop! Beauty (6th shadow on the right side of the palette (silver palette)) and then instead of Show Stopper in the outer crease, I used a mixture of Gray and a taupe brown from the Day To Play Palette
• Highlight- Instead of using Universal Mix pigment, I used a silver gold color from my Claire's eye shadow palette (48 colors in a square formation....maybe I'll swatch them later!)
• Liner- Sephora Midnight Black liner on the top lash and on the bottom lash line I swept a matte caramel color from the Day To Play Palette (maybe I'll swatch this one too..) and then line the bottom with Sephora Midnight Black liner
• Mascara- Colossal Volume by Maybelinne.. (yellow tube)

CHEEKS

• Neutrogena soft color blush in Sweet Raisin, instead of All's Good

LIPS

• Moisturized with lip balm
• Lip Stick-I used Wet N Wild in 516 C Sunset Peach, instead of Myself
  
• Lipgloss-N.Y.C Liquid Lip Shine in Cappuccino, as a Naked Frost alternative
  

Work and Play: Mac Utter Fun Face Chart

Today for work I did a tame version of this look... which I didn't take any pictures of lol
so here's the fun and crazy version of Utter Fun which kinda reminds me of a clown.. so here goes:



I think I enjoyed this look too much :)


Here's the breakdown:
EYES

• Base- Ulta base +Wet N Wild creme shadow in Pixie
• Lid- In the inner lid I used L.A. Colors Palette in Gold Rush (The 2nd gold color) which is comparable to Heat duos gold
• Crease- I used a bunch of colors.. Middle of crease I used Twilight in the place of Midnight Madness and Hard Candy Compact Suede (the top color) in the outer crease, instead of Mayhem from MAC. On top of Twilight I used a color from Claire's compact but they call for Embark which is a brownish-red, so any kind of color like that would work.
• Highlight- Estee Lauder color Ivory Box, instead of Orb
• Liner- I used Wet N Wild Black liquid liner on the top lash line. On the bottom I used Mac Shade stick in Shark Skin and smeared it out and then on top of that I took a blending brush and blended SS with Ulta Granite shadow and then I brought it down like a clown and used a little of the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean to define it. Then Sephora black liner in the inner part of the waterline.
• Masacara- Maybelinne Colossal Volume

CHEEKS

• Instead of using Superdupernatural Blush, I used Flirt! Peek-a-Blush in Heart Throb

LIPS

• I put a regular lip balm on first
• Instead of using Redd lip liner, I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Cherry
• I used Wet N Wild in 511B Mouveau Pink, instead of Utter Fun
• Instead of Jingle Jangle, I used Wet N Wild Mega Brilliance in Blushing

These are my top favorite looks from the 2010 Golden Globes:

Sandra Bullock in Bottega Veneta.
A lot of people did not like this one but I thought she looked gorgeous and it was like nothing else on the carpet. Plus Jewel tones are very in right now.

Kate Hudson in Marchesa.

I LOVE this on her!! The shoes I'm not crazy about but the dress really worked for her figure and I love the makeup

WORK RACHEL BERRY. I love this gown!! She looked adorable..

She looked like a gorgeous angel... She seems so humble during her acceptance speech and it was cute that she brought Justin Long with her..

She's so cute and pregnant! I love the accents of orange with her purse and shoes and the forest green is sharp.

Mac Face Chart: Haunting

Today's look is the recreation of Haunting, from the MAC Makeup Artist Collection and here's my look:


Things I used:
EYES

• Base(s)- I used Ulta Base all over eye, then I used NYX Jumbo Pencils Yellow + Horse Raddish and put Yellow on inner lid and brow and HR on the outer lid.. just so the colors can pop more.
• Lid-Instead of Crest The Wave, I used my dupe from the Hazel palette from Physician's Formula (the light yellow) and put that on the inner lid and brow bone
• On the outer lid, instead of Haunting, I used Ulta shadow in Breeze
  
• Crease- The face chart calls for Technakohl Liner Colour Matters (it's a yellowish-green) but I used Jordana Creme shadow in Green Meadow, which gives off the same kind of color and I just put a little of that in the crease and blended Breeze over it in the crease.
• Highlight- The light yellow color in the Physician's Formula Hazel palette
• Liner- They used Artistic License, which is a bright blue turquoise, and I used Jordana Easyliner in Bliss and I do that for the upper and lower lashlines
• Mascara-Rimmel Glam' Eyes Mascara

CHEEKS

• N.Y.C Color Face Glow in Chrome, all over face

• For the orange effect, (Off The Page MAC shadow) I used Fire and Brimstone from The She Space Minerals
  

LIPS

• N.Y.C Liquid Lip Color in Sheer Raspberry
  

MAC Face Chart: Phiff!

The look today is called Phiff! from MAC's Magic,Mischief and Mystery Collection. Here's my take on Phiff!





Here is how it's done:

EYES

• Base-Wet N Wild Creme Shadow in Pixie
• Lid-On the outer and middle lid, instead of using Midnight Madness, I used Ulta shadow in Twilight. The two are very comparable except Twilight has a slight purple feel but it still works. In the Inner lid and inner crease I used Profusion eye palette 06 and it's both of the gold colors together, instead of Midnight's gold counterpart.
• Crease- Instead of It's a Miracle (which looks like purple to me, but in the face chart it says burgundy) so I used my Day To Play Palette from Pop! Beauty and it's the 1st Burgundy color on the top.
• Highlight- I used a peachy pink from the DTP palette from Pop! Beauty instead of Naked Lunch
• Liner- NYX jumbo pencil in Black Bean on the top lashline and on the bottom I used the 1st copper color from the Hard Candy compact Suede instead of Mayhem and then on the outer lashline, I used Twilight again. Then I used Jessie's Girl eye liner in Brown Sugar across the lower lashline.
• Mascara- Pulse Perfection

CHEEKS

• Instead of Superdupernatural Blush, I used Flirt! Peek-a-blush in Heartthrob

LIPS

• I moisturized with a regular lip balm
  
• I dabbed a little concealer on my lips
  
• I used Wet N Wild lipstick in 516C Sunset Peach, instead of Suprise Me
  
• Phiff! Dazzleglass was hard to duplicate so I used a gold from Max Factor w/ Archetype mineral makeup in Sex and Candy for the sparkles
