Oscars 2015: Emma Stone Look

The Oscars were on just this past weekend and everyone seemed to step up their beauty and fashion game. Emma Stone was one of my picks for best dressed of the night. She wore a gorgeous chartreuse custom number by Elie Saab and it was truly stunning. It almost gave us more hope for spring around the corner.

Rachel Goodwin was her makeup artist and she put her in a beautiful coral lip that I have been trying to match for a couple days and it just wasn't coming out the way I wanted to, so I bit the bullet and purchased the actual lip stick color she used Revlon Ultra HD Lip Stick in Tulip and I am very happy with my purchase!! What a wonderfully creamy lip stick!! To my surprise it smells very fruity right off the bat which I didn't mind but some people may.

Here's the look:

Bella Thorne "The Duff" Premiere Look

A couple days ago I saw an advanced screening of the Duff, and while I was looking up reviews I found a picture of Bella Thorne at the movie premiere for the Duff. It wasn't anything crazy but just a nice simple look, kind of just a romantic date night look. As for the movie I thought it was really cute, yes it was predictable but it had a great message and it was funny. The message of the movie is to accept yourself for who you are and being comfortable in your own skin, which is something a lot of us lose track of.

2015 Grammy Awards Inspired Makeup: Lady Gaga

It's not every day that I decide on wearing a Lady Gaga look for every day wear because let's just face it most of Gaga's looks are a little too daring for daytime... I have to say though that out of all the makeup looks at the Grammy Awards I was captivated by her shimmering green and silver cat eye and I had to find out exactly what she used. Celebrity makeup artist Sarah Tanno used all Shiseido products and sadly I am not rich and I can't afford the exact products but I used all affordable products from NYX, Colour Pop and Wet N Wild for the most part to create a very similar look.

Here's the look:

Here's My Look:

Here's what I used:

EYES
  • Base- Cargo HD Picture Perfect Primer
  • Lid- I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Pots N Pans, I thought it was a pretty good dupe for Shiseido's Shimmering Cream Eye Color in Tin. Then on top of the inner portion of the lid I used my Galaxy Chic Palette from BH Cosmetics in Metoer and then in the middle I used Comet. Then in the outer portion of the lid, I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean, instead of using Caviar, then on top of that I used Geek Chic Cosmetics in Twilight Princess.
  • Crease- I used Colour Pop Super Shock Shadow in Partridge

Oh my goodness!!! Can Katy Perry perform the Superbowl halftime show every year??!! She was perfection!!! Her stage, her outfits and her gorgeous glittery makeup and red lip were to die for! I had to recreate this magical Covergirl look..  Jake Bailey her makeup artist used everything Covergirl to create the look and while I didn't have many of the items he used I tried my best to get the same type of products. It's one of those classic looks with a bold lip color and a gold shimmer eye that looks like it's went all the way up to her brow bone.
